Though this wasn’t the car we were advertising, it is the one we sold that day. This Dodge Truck had found a new home and I’m so glad I remembered to take a picture of it before it was gone!
Unfortunately, the Dodge project never got off the ground. Josh text me the next summer and said a tree had fallen on it during a spring storm so he was back in the market for another project vehicle. We didn’t have one as old as the Dodge but he did take a couple Apache cabs and was able to start another project.
The other pickup we sold to Josh had a service box which we had removed. He was able to use the frame and front clip from the service truck and then added his own box. The photos below show the progress made so far. Really nice job, Josh!
Update September 2024
We received an update from our favorite customer on the status of the Chevy! As he says – it’s come many miles since that service body picture. He has put a 383 stroker in and driven it a few miles. He’s still working out the bugs and needs to do the exhaust, some light wiring and bumpers. We can’t wait to share the next installment! This pickup sure is looking good! Could be a design for our next batch of Wearables!
